Bike to Work Week is May 16-20, and SunflowerHorizons.com and WellCommons.com want to cheer on all you road warriors! Come join us for a Bike to Work Day breakfast on Friday, May 20 from 6:30-9:30. We’ll be outside in front of Sunflower Outdoor and Bike Shop, 802 Mass, with coffee and juice plus some light breakfast treats to help you gear up for your day. See you there!

The Lawrence Mountain Bike Club, Sunflower Outdoor and Bike, and the Trek bicycle company have come up with quite an enticement to get you out to help with the North Lawrence River Trails workday on May 14 from 8:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.
- All volunteers who put in 4 hours of work will be entered in a drawing to win a brand new, shiny Trek Marlin Single Speed bike, valued at $640.
- Child volunteers must be accompanied by an adult.
- Sponsors will be grilling and doing other fun stuff.
- Meet at the trail entrance at 8th and Oak in North Lawrence.

June 25, 2011 Lawrence Mountain Bicycle Club Summit- Ride starts at 10:00 a.m., Food & Games around Noon. This is an annual LMBC tradition. It is an annual membership drive and celebration for the current members. There will be a ride at Clinton Lake. Nov 25, 2011 Lawrence Mountain Bicycle Club Thanksgiving Day Ride – 9:00 a.m. Break away from the in-laws and warm up your appetite on the singletrack at Clinton Lake. This is a 2-3 hour ride depending on the weather and conditions. Clinton is rocky and technical. Be prepared to fix a few flats.
